“I used to teach design at the local art college in Hastings. The old building was as traditional an art school as it was possible to be. When they decided to close the site and build a new, modern facility I wandered around on my own with a camera the day before the wreckers arrived.
Everything went into skips. It’s all fancy houses now”.
Richard de Pesando MARCA is a graphic designer. He is the founder of AmbitiousOutsiders and part of The Silverhill Press. Sometimes he takes photographs, sometimes he illustrates and sometimes he just walks his dog.
